  全红婵英文介绍

  English Introduction to Quan Hongchan

Quan Hongchan, born on March 28, 2007, in Zhanjiang, Guangdong Province, is a renowned Chinese female diver specializing in the women's 10m platform event.

Her diving journey began in 2014, when she was spotted by a coach at Zhanjiang Sports School at the age of 7. She joined the Guangdong provincial diving team in 2018 and earned a spot on China’s national diving team at the end of 2020.

Quan rose to global fame at the 2021 Tokyo Olympics: at just 14, she scored an astonishing 466.2 points (with three perfect dives out of five) to win the women’s 10m platform gold, becoming the second-youngest Olympic diving champion in Chinese history. At the 2024 Paris Olympics, she further cemented her legacy by claiming two gold medals—one in the women’s 10m synchronized platform (with her partner Chen Yuxi) and another in the women’s 10m individual platform. At 17 years and 131 days old, she became China’s youngest Olympic "triple gold medalist."

Throughout her career, she has also won titles at major events like the FINA World Championships, FINA World Cup, and Asian Games. In January 2025, she was named the 2024 FINA Best Female Diver. Known for her precise, splash-free dives, she is affectionately nicknamed the "Splash Disappearing Magician" by fans worldwide.
